“ I went to Qahwah house for the first today, I’ve heard about this place so much and it really exceeded my expectation. I’ve only tried the chocolate brownie so far ( I ordered the pistachio milk cake I think it’s called) but, it was frozen so they gave me the chocolate brownie for free. So sweet. Everyone who worked there that I interacted with were very friendly and sweet. The ambience of the cafe is great as well and the open late hours is a great added bonus!! I really enjoyed going with my family and also doing some work there! ”

It was so nice to meet the cheerful owner Sulaiman! As someone with a dairy allergy I was so surprised to see they had vegan chocolate cake (made with almond and coconut milk). My friend and I came for dessert - I ordered the chocolate cake and he got the pistachio dream dessert and a cold Mofawar latte (with a dash of fragrant cardamom). We both greatly enjoyed what we ordered. Another time I came and got their delicious peppermint tea. Highly recommend their tea, coffee, and desserts/pastries! ”

The decor and aesthetic created such a calm, tranquil vibe. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and the space is beautifully designed. I sat at the bar with a direct view of the coffee being freshly ground — a unique experience on its own. They also had a wide selection of pastries, and everything looked (and tasted) amazing. Although my visit was brief, I found myself wishing to linger and fully appreciate the environment. I sampled the Pistachio Dream Cake, a confection featuring a crunchy pistachio katayef base layered with decadent cream cheese and topped with a premium pistachio sauce, accompanied by a mango refresher. On a future visit, I intend to try the Hazelnut Dream Cake, which boasts a crunchy hazelnut katayef base layered with cream cheese and topped with chocolate sauce, or the Carrot Lava Cake, a moist and spicy carrot bundt filled with a cream cheese mousse. “ There are not enough good things I can say about Qahwah House. Each and every time I’m here, I’m given exceptional service by all of the staff. One gentleman in particular, whom is always there when I have gone, is extremely personable and makes the best adeni for sureeeee. There’s nothing you can go wrong with here, their coffee is always such a delight along with khaliat al nahl, and if you go early enough in the day it’s perfect for getting work done(later on in the night, there’s large groups and they get loud) The space is large and bright, and the walls show the importance of Yemen and qahwah. It is great for studying, groups, whatever you can want. And they have an outdoor patio! ”
